BULK REMINDERS

Hello everyone!

Here are some helpful reminders for BULK items. As well, ALL of you should pay close attention to the fines that can be passed on for leaving bulk items out. Please click here to read a recent reminder sent to us from the City of Hollywood or view ALL the information provided by the City of Hollywood below.

  • ALL BULK ITEMS MUST BE BROKEN DOWN AND PLACED INTO THE DUMPSTERS,
  • Fines for violations thru The City of Hollywood start at $1,000, IF ANY PERSON IS IDENTIFIED AS NOT BREAKING DOWN BULK ITEMS, THEY WILL BE FINED TO THESE AMOUNTS,
  • When dropping off rent, please use the small yellow envelopes. They fit thru the dropbox in the office door,
  • Always include your name and apartment on ALL your envelopes and payments,
  • All payments should be made payable to Jade-Lynn Apartments,
  • Do not reply to the notifications or the notification number. Click through the link and read the messages. If you ever have a question, call us,
  • Make note of the service text number: (954) 395-6262, any calls or contact to other numbers you have will not be answered.

Please check our Spring office hours! PLUS…Great news!

We’re excited to introduce a new online payment option for all residents!

You can now pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, CashApp, or major credit cards. This option is currently being tested but is available for use now. All payments are processed through SquareUp, and please note that Jade-Lynn Corp and its affiliates are not responsible for any fees from third-party payment apps. There is a service fee of 3.1% + $0.30 processing fee that is added to all transactions made through our portal.

FIRE SAFETY UPGRADES ARE COMPLETE

MARCH 21, 2025

Hello all!

We are happy to let you know that we have completed ALL fire safety upgrades. Thank you for your cooperation in helping make the process easy!

Fire Blankets are easy to use. Simply pull the cords, fully open the blanket and place the fully opened fire blanket onto the fire! Please review the infographic below or click here for a tutorial video to learn more

Our new smoke alarms now are set with 10-year battery life. Please note the new alarms are more sensitive than the old ones. Please pay attention to sounds or beeps. For more about the smoke alarms, please click here to learn more. Remember to call 911 if there is a life threatening emergency.

PROPERTY TRASH AND LAUNDRY ROOM CARE

March 20, 2025

Hello everyone!

As you are all aware, we walk around and inspect the common areas. When we do this we look to see if there has been improvement in keeping the property clean of debris and other trash. It is disappointing to see that many of you still walk over, drop, or toss your trash along the walkways, in the bushes, and within the parking lot. We MUST pay attention to helping keep our living areas clear and free of rodents and cockroaches. DO NOT PLACE YOUR TRASH OUTSIDE YOUR FRONT DOORS!
The more you toss the more it costs!

We must also address the treatment of our laundry rooms. We work hard to keep a clean and operating space to do laundry. We ask that if you cause a mess, you clean it up. DO NOT LEAVE SPILLS OF ANY LIQUID OR POWDER DETERGENT, LIQUID FABRIC SOFTENERS, ANY BLEACH PRODUCT, it only makes it worse. And very very important, CLEAR THE LINT IN THE DRYERS AFTER EACH USE.

SMOKE ALARM UPGRADE IS COMPLETE – NEXT SAFETY IMPROVEMENT

MARCH 2025

Hello all!

We are happy to let you know that we have completed our smoke alarm upgrade. Thank you for your cooperation in helping make the process easy! Because we care about ALL our safety, next we will be installing in ALL kitchens a fire blanket. In short, this is meant to help stop and smother kitchen stove, clothes, small electrical fires, or hopefully nothing else.

To use them is easy and simple! Simply place the fully opened fire blanket onto the fire!

These special fire blankets will be installed in ALL kitchens slowly over the coming months. Each week we will notify the individual apartments that are being upgraded.

SMOKE DETECTOR/ALARM UPGRADE

February 2025

Hi All!

Below is the previous message regarding the upgrade of ALL the smoke detectors in ALL the apartments.

Please continue reading.

We’re happy to let you know that we have completed the 2521 Lincoln Street building. Thank you everyone for making it easy! We are going to begin the 2522 Lincoln Street building in the coming weeks. The upgrade will be taking place slowly over the next few months. Each week we will notify the individual apartments that are being upgraded.

Hello everyone!

It is our pleasure to let you know that we will be upgrading ALL the smoke detectors/alarms in ALL the apartments. These new smoke detectors are now going to have an estimated 10-year battery life! The upgrade will be taking place slowly over the next few months. Each week we will notify the individual apartments that are being upgraded. We will be working in the 2521 Lincoln Street building first (some of you have already been upgraded).

UPDATED FIRE ALARM TEST NOTICE

NEW DATE FOR FIRE ALARM TEST – NOW THURSDAY JANUARY 23, 2025

Hello everyone!

On Tuesday January 21, 2025 personnel from Broward County Security will be testing the buildings fire alarm system. You may experience the following: 1- Intermittent sounding of the fire alarm system, 2- Technician testing and resetting of the fire alarm system.

Normal operation of your building should be able to resume upon completion of the fire alarm system testing procedure. This test will be started between 9:30 to 2:30PM and may continue from ONE TO THREE HOURS. 

Please remember this is only testing the system.
