We hope that everyone enjoyed the holiday season! Please read below to learn about the FREE Christmas Tree recycle program and appropriate garbage disposal here at Jade-Lynn.

The City of Hollywood along with Broward County has a Christmas Tree recycle program for FREE to all City and County residents! The program runs from Thursday, December 26, 2024, through Monday, January 20, 2025. The closest Christmas Tree recycle drop is West Lake Park located at 1200 Sheridan St., Hollywood 33019; 954-357-5161​

With the holiday season now past us, there has been an abundance of garbage that has not been disposed of properly. The topic of garbage and trash around the property needs to be addressed again. On the day after Christmas there was a horrible amount of trash everywhere. It was incredibly disappointing to see that trash is still being thrown to the floor and not disposed of properly. What’s worse is it is still ignored by most that walk past it. Therefore, beginning this month January 2025, we will be reviewing our security cameras and will begin to issue fines starting at $25 to all individual residents and their guests who chose to use the property as their personal trash can. Additionally, DO NOT DUMP FURNITURE, if we find disposed of furniture or other bulky items without breaking them down and placing them in the dumpster, there will be a $100 fine assessed to your account.

If you wish to avoid these fines start doing the right thing and throw your garbage where it belongs!

When throwing away your garbage, always remember:
– DO NOT TOSS YOUR GARBAGE OVER THE DUMPSTERS DOORS! (OPEN THE DOOR, PLACE TRASH IN DUMPSTER, CLOSE DOOR),
– BREAKDOWN ALL EMPTY BOXES,
– SEAL ALL YOUR GARBAGE BAGS,
– PROHIBITED ITEMS: FLAMMABLE OR TOXIC MATERIALS, FURNITURE OR ANY APPLIANCES, MATTRESS OR BOX SPRINGS, AUTO BATTERIES,
– PLEASE REMEMBER – NO PARKING IN FRONT OF DUMPSTERS!

TRASH AND GARBAGE AROUND THE PROPERTY

Hi everyone!

Over the past couple weeks, we have noticed an increase in trash/garbage around the buildings. Plastic cups, cans, loose paper, and more! What we have also noticed is that not only is trash dropped on the floor, but ignored by all that walk past it.

Please do not toss your fast-food bags, your cans, junk mail, or anything else on the floor, please take your garbage inside to throw away, and please keep the common areas clean from any refuse. The smallest things make the biggest differences!
